Route 1 Day Center News

Prepare to be blessed as you bless others. Grace Community Church has volunteered to provide food and people to serve the 2nd Wed. evening each month at the Route 1 Day Center for the homeless. We are putting the call out to all interested individuals or groups who would like to be a part of reaching out to our community. Here are some of the details:

We need 5 volunteers to arrive at 5:15 to serve food, clean up, greet the guests, or work in the pantry.

Our menu needs might vary from month to month depending on leftovers from the previous time. But usually we need 4 meat entrees, 3 side dishes, 2 desserts, 1 gal each of 2% milk, juice or fruit drink, and tea or lemonade (can be powdered and mixed there). Hot foods need to be brought prepared and ready to serve.
