Your Leader Training This Fall

For our fall 2010 "Grace Small Group Leader's Training Experience” we will take part in the "Community U Small Group Conference." This national conference is being held live right here at Grace Community.

Steve Gladen, Small Groups Pastor at Saddleback Community Church in CA, his team, and pastors from successful small group ministries around the country will teach on-site live for two days at Grace Community Church. We will be hosting as other churches from around the Mid-Atlantic Region join us.

The focus is on how to have healthy groups which lead to a healthy church. We will talk about how to disciple people, not just lead a meeting. Learn how to make groups more about life transformation than about information. We will work on very practical skills such as equipping leaders to deal with difficult people in their groups as well as exploring strategies to increase the commitment level and more fully engage the members of your small group.

Grace is hosting for the opportunity to expose our leaders to this great teaching. The cost to you is minimal, only $20 registration for both days. Please take the time to attend both Friday and Saturday if at all possible. You will not be sorry for the investment in your own life and your group. Registration for only one day is also available.

Date:
October 15th & 16th. Friday 8:30am - 4pm, Saturday 8:30am - 2:45pm

Registration:
$20 registration for one or two days is the same price for all Grace Leaders.

You must register ahead of time, at the GroupLife Table, for special price. Price at the door will be $199.

(Do NOT register through the Saddleback Conference Site - the price for outside guests is considerably more.)

Lunch:
Lunch is available on-site each day for $6.00. It will be a box lunch each day. You will pre-order lunch when you register for conference and pay when you sign-in for the conference.

Tracks:
The conference offers two tracks you can attend plus breakout options on Saturday. To help us prepare, we will ask you to choose a track when you register. I recommend the Prime Track with Steve Gladen for both days if you have never attended a Saddleback conference with our team in the past.
